The current source code for the sockets is primarily in C, and doesn't use any of the OOP advantages offered by C++.
The code needs to be refactored.
server_node doesn't shut down unless the connection is closed by client, even after sending SIGINT (Ctrl + C).
Add some functionality to close the server whenever required.
Sometimes you need to send some information periodically, or by callback function (Button Click? for example), smoothly open + send + close connection.
When you close connection with server_node, it crashes.
Something like "Conncetion with <client_ip> is closed." would be appropriate, it will help to enhance this node functionality enormously.
