I think this issue can be closed? Everything was merged into one package wich can be installed using "pip install ." or "pip install -e ."!
As it comes to usability - there is not much implemented yet and the backend is still in active development, I think it takes some time until it is possible to acutally use the bindings!

You are absolutely right - I used pip install -e . yesterday and it solved my annoyance :-)

You're right. This was not clear or documented anywhere. @JonasVautherin Has given me some guidance and I'm hoping to try this out today or tomorrow.
