dagor-brushless-controller's Issues

Gerbers

Hi @byDagor, great work! Do you by chance have the Gerber files you used to make the boards? Or do you have a link to purchase them if you are selling these boards?

Thanks!

Published Schematic

Hi, I am looking for a suitable board to run SimpleFOC for a project, your Dagor board is so close to meeting all my specs but just not quite the right physical size. Would you consider sharing the schematic so I can create a different shape PCB or are you keeping the PCB design closed source?

Driving 48v BLDC motor with Dagor

I'm just going to ask, see what happens...

I've been following these dagor boards for a while now, because I would like to see if I can use SimpleFoc to drive a lathe spindle for FluidNC (I'm a contributor there). I'm specifically wondering if I can get it to do threading - which is a hard task by itself. The fact that your boards use an esp32 might be a nice advantage.

Anyways, I'm aiming at motors like these, and have a 500W one at home to tinker with. They already have an integrated hall sensor, so I suppose it should be possible to use these. https://jkongmotor.en.made-in-china.com/product/iwvGOzhHAaVg/China-NEMA-34-86mm-BLDC-Motor-24V-500W-and-48V-1000W-for-The-Sliding-Door-Assembly.html

I know the Dagor boards use 24v, while these motors are 48v rated. DRV8305 goes to 45v max... So if that's replaced by a DRV8323 and the mosfets by bigger ones, would that do the trick? I was wondering if there are any plans down this road?

price estimate ?

hi there, i've looked at all the brushless controller design that i could find and and your's seems to be the most promising.
Would you have an estimation of the price to build one ? i'm looking for a price range so that i compare it to the others i've found. (and it might be nice to put in the specs list)

many thanks in advance

Hardware Specs...24V?

Hi, what is the limiting factor for only 24V? I would be in need of 30V (8s Lifepo4 battery)...
