I have imported the solution and published customizations, but I cant edit any lines in configuration. Do I need a specific security role? I have system admin role.

It would be great to have OrgDbOrgSettings as one of the tools in XrmToolBox which would allow the user to connect to the organisation and update the settings. (without the need to install the managed solution zip file)

In order to facilitate this, you need onfigure category-based tracking through an OrgDBOrgSetting, link here: https://technet.microsoft.com/library/mt846659.aspx.

This is listed in the options list:

But it looks like this has not been added to the settings.xml file in your managed solution.

The setting EnableSssItemLevelMonitoring is missing and is available as of 9.0.2.193.

It is a boolean and the default is false.

Excited to find your tool allows 1,000,000 records to download to excel. Is there a way to do the same for records coming from the portal? The max is 5000, but I have users that need a max of 100,000 records.

I'm facing an issue with OrgDbOrgSettings.
If I try to edit a setting (maxrecordsforexporttoexcel, for instance) I get the following message :

I have several organizations and only have this issue on 1 org.
Solution import worked fine on that org.
Dynamics CRM is 2015 Onpremises UR 0.2 (7.0.2 53)
Do you have any idea why I get this error and how I could make it work ?

IFD is setup and everything is working fine in regards to authentication to CRM.

I am receiving this error when trying to update an organization setting by using the command prompt tool:

Consider falling back to webapi retrieveversionrequest on v8.x (or lowest supported) to get the version for version detection (if the window. version detection fails).

We install this solution recently and change the option SSSCreateAdditionalQueueItemsForAlreadyTrackedEmail to TRUE.
This is because the users reported that some emails were not created in the queues.
After that, the users reported that some emails reappear in the queue as new ones.
You can see in the attached file the date when the email was created and the date when the reappear in the queue, and the related case:

Is possible that this change causes this behavior? Is this expected?

I am looking for SSSTaskDeletionSyncBehaviorFromExchange and do not see it in the list. I am looking to prevent archived tasks in outlook deleting from the CRM as we want to retain all history.

When trying to add the ActivateAdditionalRefreshofworkflowCondition action the error message, there was an error updating your dborgsettings not parsable was shown. This issue only occurred on the Production environment after successful testing on 2 other environments.

Hello, I am trying to change the value for MaxRecordsForExportToExcel to a lower number (such as 1).

I was able to modify the package and import, then set the value for MaxRecordsForExportToExcel to 1, but i can still export greater than one. Not sure if this attribute is only valid for Dynamics on premises and not Online.

Sean - great utility! Noticed one setting we have to change time to time using an integration tool or custom code. It's called IsSOPIntegrationEnabled. It's been around since CRM 2011 but no interface to change it. It would be handy to turn on or off using your tool.

Have you noticed that if you turn DoNotAutotrackEmailin option to true and revert back to false, personal setting no email messages disappears?

I've imported your latest solution 9/4, enabled TrackCategorizedItems setting and published the changes to my CRM sandbox instance. However, from Outlook I do not see the "Tracked to Dynamics 365 CRM" category. I wonder if other admins who are trying to deploy this feature are facing the same issue. I tried manually creating that category in my Outlook client and assigning an email to that category. After waiting 15 minutes for the sync to D365, that email is still not tracked.

I just want to submit my test case in case you or others have suggestions on further instructions to get this feature working completely. I've also tried tracking an email using App for Outlook, and the The Tracked to Dynamics 365 category is not even assigned.

Microsoft announced some deprecations coming out with new major release , so I want to check by you if they will affect to product functioning. It would be great to enable and disable Microsoft Teams Integration with custom entities in Dynamics 365.
One feature for enabling entities and one for disabling. In each feature we could state the entities we would like to enable/disable.

When Adding 'HideTrackAllOption' we are given the following error and do not get the edit option for that setting. The other setting we changed (AutoCreateContactOnPromote) threw a similar error but still seems to have worked. We're OnPrem IFD deployed on version 9.0.6.9.

I can't see EnableTDSEndpoint in the list of settings for my org, is that because I need to wait for the org to update or does it need to be added to the settings editor?

Hi I have CRM 2016 On-Premise version 8.1.1.1005. I just configured SharePoint Integration with SharePoint Online, changed CreateSPFoldersUsingNameandGuid settings to false and GUIDs are still added to the sharepoint folder.

Am I missing something or is my version of CRM not supported?

Would it be possible to add AUTOEXTENDATTRIBUTEMAXLENGTHLIMIT to the tool?

Currently, it is possible for a field length to be increased by importing a record with more characters in a field imported than is defined in the schema.

This setting prevents the field length from being increased as a result of an import.
