Maybe a new project matebook-manager? A superset of matebook-applet? Just an idea :)

Could well be viable. Need to think about that in detail. And, naturally, if anyone shows up with PR requests, those will be totally welcome.

After some research I seem to finally be on track to finding instruments that would allow implementing this with reasonable amount of overhead. In other words, WIP, stay tuned. ;-)

Allright, the windowed mode is pushed into master, activated with -w option. Looks ugly as a blobfish, but is supposedly fully functional. I would highly appreciate testing reports before tagging and releasing.

I really like it, clean and simple. Assuming docs will be there soon, screenshots would be cool too.
