First pass results:

  • BBC accuracy at 91.7%
  • NYT accuracy at 96%
  • Huffington Post accuracy at 90.5%

Caveat - I'm not sure this is the exact same test set. We have to regenerate the JSONs I'm using to match Catherine's set of articles. That's why this issue is not closed yet.

Wow - Super!! What exactly do you mean by accuracy? Is this testing which is the "real country" or disambiguation only or ?

Ran this on the cleaned JSONs and got:

  • BBC: 72% (regular CLAVIN is 64%)
  • NYT: 100% (regular CLAVIN is 85%)
  • HuffPo: 83% (regular CLAVIN is 77%)
