Running on OS X Lion with latest updates as of 23rd May 2012.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get latest awe6 source
2. Run 'nme build awe6.nmml ios' (nme test awe6.nmml ios -simulator) will also
give similar results.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect project to build. Build log can be found at http://pastebin.com/H9hZB1XQ
although errors of note are:

./src/awe6/core/MessageManager.cpp: In member function ‘virtual
haxe::FastList_awe6_core__MessageManager__HelperSubscription

a constant-expression
./src/awe6/core/MessageManager.cpp:344: error: template argument 1 is invalid

NME Actuate sample builds fine, problem only occurs when using awe6.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

ios - 'super' in member access expression is ambiguous

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed basic awe6 project template.
2. Compiles fine on Flash / Mac
3. Get following error when compliing for ios:

./src/robotd/gui/Overlay.cpp:190:23: error: lookup of 'super' in member access
expression is ambiguous
                                                        return __this->super::_getButton(p_type);

linux runtime error: trying to save in root

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. nme build awe6.nmml linux
2. cd export/cpp/linux/bin
3. ./awe6
4. Beat game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Show high score, save file.
Saw (in console): Error : [file_open,///AWE6_DEMO.sol]

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
haXe 2.09; nme 3.3.3; awe6 r455
Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (x86_64)
Distribution: Linux Mint Debian XFCE Edition

Please provide any additional information below.
Changing awe6/core/drivers/nme/Session.hx's _driverLoad's
SharedObject.getLocal's call to read

_so = SharedObject.getLocal( _kernel.factory.id, FileSystem.fullPath(
Path.directory( Sys.executablePath() ) ) );

(with relevant imports obviously) fixes the problem, though not sure if it's
the desired solution on your part. Otherwise, linux build works flawlessly.

Properties in Haxe 3.0

It's probably a good idea to change the naming convention for properties
getters/setters to reflect the incoming changes in Haxe 3.0 (as was announced
at the WWX). We might ge into serious troubles otherwise.

InputText problem

It seems that framework somehow kills focus on textfield.When textfield type is
"input" it never shows ibeam cursor and text input is blocked also native
framework Text with p_isInput = true doesn't work.

Demo app crashes with target mac

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Take demo app from the SVN
2. compile using nme test awe6.nmml mac
3. start the game, move mouse over button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Rollover effect, instead app crashes. It seems that _kernel.audio seems to be
the problem, as soon as this line is removed rollover-effect works. Then
crashes on click, when _kernel.audio is removed here it works and so on.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Haxe 2.0.9, NME 3.3.2, newest HXCPP from SVN Trunk, newest awe6 from Trunk r434

Memory leak when switching scenes

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start awe6 demo app using nme test awe6.nmml flash|mac -debug
2. Start the game, click all Spheres, start new game, click all spheres, start
new game ...
3. Have a look at the Memory usage

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: disposer will remove the view and free the memory used.
Instead:
Mac:
It starts at 48 MB, increases to 60 MB when starting the game, increases to 70
MB when Results Scene is shown.
Then starting a new game leads to 96 MB usage, next restart is using 111 MB and
so on.
Flash:
Starts lower at 10 MB, but also increases steadily to 14 MB on next game, then
17 MB and so on.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest HXCPP, NME and awe6 (all from trunk), testing on a Mac 10.7

Extending the View class

Hi,

I am trying to add some more functionality to the View classes, e.g. adding
alpha transparency and / or rotation.

What is the suggested method of going about this?

Flash target Font registration on last loaded asset

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Embed a Font in a swf asset
2.Load that asset last
3.Font will be removed from global registry by unloadAndStop in Preloader

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should not be removed, should be available in the registry.

Workaround is to not have assets with fonts loaded in as the last asset.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. generate the nme blackberry code (c++) of the demo
2. transfer and start it on the playbook

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected: Game running at least at maybe 30fps.
Instead: In the menu and "static" scenes it's running smooth 50-60 fps, when
game starts it regularly (twice a second) drops to 1 fps, average maybe
10-15fps. It's unplayable.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest awe6 trunk, HXCPP/NME latest trunk. Blackberry Tablet OS.

A View's change in position does not affect attached child Views

As the title says, and as discussed in detail here
(https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/awe6/9PweJRJY_RU), a View's
change in position does not affect any attached child Views as anticipated.
Currently, only the context moves along with the parent's View, however the
properties globalX/Y and x/y stay fixed.

Reference to non-existent "_sprite" in the Text class

In attempting to compile the App demo (r543), there was an error caused by line
80 on Button.hx:
l_result.addChild( untyped l_text._sprite ); // safe ancestry cast

As there is no _sprite property in the Text class, this bombed. I fixed it
temporarily by changing _sprite to _context, and then making _context public in
the GuiEntity class. Thought you should know.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
haXe 2.09; nme 3.3.3; awe6 r455
Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (x86_64)
Distribution: Linux Mint Debian XFCE Edition

Please provide any additional information below.
This was a quick fix, though I dislike how I fixed the first error. For the
cursor ones just change the switch stuff to:
            case ARROW :
                Lib.jeashSetCursor( Default );
            case BUTTON :
                Lib.jeashSetCursor( Pointer );
            case HAND :
                Lib.jeashSetCursor( Pointer );
            case IBEAM :
                Lib.jeashSetCursor( Text );

For the first I updated Main to import jeash.display.DisplayObject extend from
DisplayObject if we're doing js:
#if js
class Main extends DisplayObject
#else
class Main
#end

Anyway, after this, the display text isn't the correct font or centered
properly and the invaders are kind of partially destroyed and very difficult to
click.

Haxelib 3 doesn't know about awe6?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use Haxe 3: Haxe Library Manager 3.0.0 - (c)2006-2013 Haxe Foundation
2. Try to install awe6: C:\Users\adam>haxelib install awe6
No such Project : awe6

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to install it!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
No version of awe6, yet. Windows 7.

Please provide any additional information below.
I can't use haxelib bundled with NME (Haxe Library Manager 1.03 - (c)2006
Motion-Twin) because I'm behind a proxy and its proxy detection is broken, so
I'm using the latest Haxe (3).

I can't find the package on your website that I would need to use haxelib in a
local-install scenario (i.e. "test" in the old haxelib and "local" in the more
sensible new one!)
