My instincts are there is a race condition somewhere in the process; and since the photo saves as expected this may not be urgent. Going to bucket it into 3.3.0 for now.

Message: Thank you for updating ShakeItPhoto! I love this app. The only problem I have encountered is that many times, when "developing" a pre-existing photo on my phone, it develops into a completely black image. Not every time, but sometimes. However, the proper photo is always put into my camera roll. It would be great if you could fix this bug in a future update.
I enjoy this app tremendously and really appreciate that you guys created it and are maintaining it again. Thank you!

Hi Zee, I’m jumping in here to help get your 2022 renewal squared away. I believe we would just need to make one minor change and we should be good. Please see below from our legal team. If you can let me know which of the two options you would prefer I should be able to get this processed before the end of the week.

We are willing to offer another renewal for one more year. However, we do have an issue with the use of the POLAROID wordmark in the SHAKEIT app. They use the sentence “Take Polaroid photos with your iPhone”. This sentence suggests that it concerns a genuine Polaroid picture, while it is a photo including the Polaroid picture format. We would like to avoid any reference to the term Polaroid photo/picture, while it is not a genuine Polaroid picture. Therefore, we request to change the said sentence to: “Take Polaroid format photos with your iPhone” or to “Take Polaroid frame photos with your iPhone”. Please let me know if this works. If so, we will draft the amendment to the contract for another year.

A customer reported that when they're taking photographs without a flash, they have to re-disable the flash each time the viewfinder comes up.

They suggested that the flash settings stay the same in between shots.

I don't know how feasible this is; especially since I don't know:

1. If we can "listen" for changes to the flash setting in the viewfinder
2. If we can pass in a value for the flash

Thoughts?

We've received a number of reports that the latest release does not quite lay things out correctly

Thrilled that shake it photo is still functioning after so many years, I and a bunch of my buds use it daily.

Just want to bring to your attention that the newest version is cropping existing photos off-center. Please see two images > Attached, shot with my iPhone 14 Pro.

Any fix expected soon?

As a photographer with a modern iPhone
I would like the UI to scale to fill my device

This Issue May Be Closed When

• The Interface no longer has gaps above and below the UI elements
• A build is on TestFlight that has this fix applied
• The release notes for the version it is included in include a line stating this bug is fixed.

The location of our buttons on smaller screens appear to make them really easy to "tap" when someone is swiping up. We may want to add some margin? padding? to make it a bit less likely that we're getting in the way of Operationg-System level gestures.

Subject: Usability suggestion
Message: Hi. Another suggestion: on the screen with the four buttons at the bottom (export, import, camera, and settings), please move these up and give more room. Currently it’s sometimes tricky to trap on these because it’s so close to the “swipe up” area (to leave the app) on my iPhone XS.
Also, sometimes it freezes on this screen.

In order to have time to choose between taking a photo or adjusting a photo
I want to be able to opt-out of immediately launching the Camera

We have lots of people who love ShakeItPhoto, and wish they could use it in other applications. However I have no idea how that would even work or how feasible it is!

I was wondering how to duplicate or use your shakeitphoto filter look in Lightroom etc.
I would love to have it for bigger files. RAW files.
Not just on the phone.
But I assume its a total different technic in programming the color style for an app…then work with presets in Lightroom or Photoshop?!

Dear all,

I just installed version 3.3.1 from the AppStore on my iPhone 12 Pro. To go to the settings menu I tap on "Cancel" the then on the little gear on the next page. In this new version I'm not able to tap on one of the "buttons" ( Share / + / Camera / Settings ) on the bottom of the screen at all. If I tap it the app goes back to the first screen.

Could you please correct it.

The iOS release is blocked by missing a 1024x1024 app store icon.
Having a vector version of shake it photo icon would allow us to have any resolution of icons for future requirement changes.

We get requests every so often to develop an Android Edition of Shake It Photo.

ShakeItPhoto Plus would start with zero additional features, and be purely a call-to-action for continued maintenance and development on ShakeItPhoto.

Upon initial run, Shake it photo provided an intro video link, where it links to momentpark.com but the video link is broken.

As a first time user, user should be able to view intro video to learn about this application.

iOS 14 is comign out soon, let's make sure Shake It Works on it!

I am unclear what will happen to legacy support if I deploy a new binary with iOS 14.0 as the build target. Which phones will be able to run the new binary? How to I maintain support for phones that are a few models behind?

In order to open-source this project, we need to make sure that we aren't accidentally leaking private information.

The Google-info.plist file has private API keys in it, which we probably want to remove and store in a repository we keep private; or in a secure vault in 1password (or BitWarden or something)
