hugo-ivy's Introduction

This Hugo theme was ported from Ivy (its original repo is no longer accessible), a minimalist website generator built in Python. I don't have time to document it. You have to read the source code to understand what it can do. Like Ivy, this theme is also released under the Unlicense, which basically means you just do whatever you want.

hugo-ivy's Issues

How to hide the date on a page? How to disable Disqus for a page?

First of all, thank you for your amazing work, Yihui! I really like hugo-ivy and decided to switch from Jekyll to Hugo.

This "issue" is more two questions as I am still clueless after looking through the code. I am trying to:

  • Hide the date for an About page
  • Disable Disqus for the front page

Any tips?

Different styles on different systems (win vs mac)

It is more of a question than an issue. I am building a website to showcase my research (thus have little to none HTML/CSS experience) and I am using Hugo-ivy template (which looks great btw). I noticed that the font shift changes from mac to win, e.g. when I open https://ivy.yihui.org/ on windows I get such font;
win_hugo_ivy
while on the mac I get the same as in this screenshot: https://github.com/yihui/hugo-ivy/blob/master/images/screenshot.png.

Is there a way to homogenize across systems (make them look as on mac)? Thanks for any help!
