tela-icon-theme's Issues

Added more colors.

I have these colors added properly if you want them. If not thanks for the icons. I just figured if you were planning on anymore colors then you might like these.

New release?

It's maybe the time for a new release?

P.S.: please, prefer the format "yyyymmdd" to "yyyy_mm_dd": it's more convenient.

I was wondering if you could add these ^

Thanks,

Destination does not exist or is not a directory

Keep getting this:

ERROR: Destination does not exist or is not a directory.

Obviously the folder $HOME/.themes already existst, and I've tried to set permisson to 777 and owner to my user.

It worked only when I've specified another directory by -d command:
$ ./install.sh -d ../.icons ubuntu

Insomnia icon missing

The icon for insomnia (REST client) is missing, using any other icon theme restores it.

Calendar App in ElementaryOS shows Chinese.

Dear Vince,

thanks for the incredible icon pack. Just saw it today and it becomes by far my absolute favorite!
One thing though: I use elementaryOS Juno and my Calendar app shows the month / weekday / whatever is on top in Chinese. Is there any way to change this into English?

Thanks!

Some errors with simbolic links

Symbolic link /usr/share/icons/Tela/24/panel/nm-device-wired-secureoffline.svg points to /usr/share/icons/Tela/24/panel/network-vpn.svg which does not exist.
Symbolic link /usr/share/icons/Tela/24/panel/nm-adhoc.svg points to /usr/share/icons/Tela/24/panel/network-wireless-hotspot.svg which does not exist.
Symbolic link /usr/share/icons/Tela/22/panel/nm-device-wired-secureoffline.svg points to /usr/share/icons/Tela/22/panel/network-vpn.svg which does not exist.
Symbolic link /usr/share/icons/Tela/22/panel/nm-adhoc.svg points to /usr/share/icons/Tela/22/panel/network-wireless-hotspot.svg which does not exist.

Every single symbolic link is broken

None of the links in the links folder actually link to anywhere. It doesn't seem to affect anything, leading me to believe that the folder is deprecated. If it is, you should probably delete it, but if it isn't, you should really fix it.

Install errors

can you add visual studio code icon on your next release of this icon, in current release it has same icon as gedit and mousepad etc, and audacious music player icon.

thank you for this great icon :-)

[icon request] keepassxc

I have noticed that there is only the panel icon for the keepassxc but not a scalable one for the application. Please consider to add it.

Icons in Gnome Shell are Too Small and Inconsistent

First of all, thank you for putting together such a beautiful icon theme. I like it very much!
However, there are some minor issues.

  • Distro: Pop!_OS 19.04

  • Display: 4k, 15.6 inch

  • Problem:
The icons in the Gnome Shell top bar are too small/of inconsistent size.

  • Screenshots:

    • Pop Icon Theme:

  • Tela Icon Theme

Notice how small the Power Off icon is.

Change inherits line to avoid missing icons

Hi Vince,

could you add the surfn icon theme to your inherits line and several others as fallback theme.

If there are missing icons and people have installed one of these icon themes, they will get the icons from the first theme that is installed.

i believe it can supplement your theme rather well.

Inherits=Surfn,Papirus,Paper,Niumix-Circle,hicolor

Dark Green Icon Pack - trash icon is bright white.

Hello, I have git pulled the theme to try today. One issue is in the dark green pack I chose to use, the icon chosen by the theme is a bright white trash icon. This is out of place when compared to the rest of the darker style icons in this particular pack. Also "administration" and "preferences" use the same blue control style icon, although this is a lesser issue I would imagine a more warning color to be used for administration (eg: same style as quit icon color).

Many thanks for the icon pack, it really is very nice and I will continue to use it despite these things I have noticed :)

Postman Icon request

Would it be possible to include an icon for postman?

This is their orignal icon. (it has a fine white line around it)
