Another reasonable suggestion. I'll implement this and the changes from #8 when I get some cycles.

Turns out I already implemented the timeoutidle parameter, but made a few mistakes in doing so that would prevent it from working:

1. it was configured as a global option instead of a service option
2. it was configured as timeoutidle instead of TIMEOUTidle
3. the default value was set to 60 seconds

I resolve the issues, and set the default value to 43200 seconds.
