Hi, I'm trying to add the url for mybibliography in a NIH biosketch. I'm using the yaml template that you provide after creating a new Rmd file from template.

I'm unable to compile my pdf after replacing in the yaml header the value "url" with "https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/1-cfxohhHK6U9c/bibliography/public/". In examining the .tex file that's created when knitting the Rmd file, I see:

\url{\url{https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/1-cfxohhHK6U9c/bibliography/public/}}

When I manually remove the outer \url{}, I can compile as needed.

Next on the to-do list should probably be to add an NSF biosketch. Looks like there's a good latex template here.

I entered my NIH bibliography in the header as follows:
myBibliography: 'https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/browse/collection/1234567890'

This returns the following error when knitting the RMarkdown file:

! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [input stack size=5000]. \@makeother #1->\catcode #1 12\relax l.122 ...h.gov/myncbi/browse/collection/1234567890}}

Replacing myBibliography with "" instead of a URL does not cause an error.

Inside the TeX file the following happens:

\subsection*{Complete List of Published Work in MyBibliography:} \url{\url{https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/browse/collection/51928147}} 1234567890

I believe the double-\url is causing the issue.

Do you have any guidance how to fix this?

EDIT: Removing the double URL and just leaving \url{https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/browse/collection/51928147} in the TeX file and then running this file with xetex produces the correct PDF.
