awesome-creative-coding's Issues

suggestion

I work primarily with Isadora, a visual programming environment with a rich healthy user base.
Isadora has built in video mapping, both linear and non-linear playback, and a powerful visual programming interface.
I think it would be a fitting addition to your list.

GlslViewer glslEditor glslCanvas

GlslEditor is an online shader editor with some tools for life coding, recording, tweaking, testing and sharing frag shaders http://editor.thebookofshaders.com code: https://github.com/patriciogonzalezvivo/glslEditor

GlslViewer is the openGL ES Shader renderer, have the same spec than glslEditor and can be run in MacOS, Linux and even raspberryPI directly from console. Code: http://github.com/patriciogonzalezvivo/glslViewer

Both are part of http://thebookofshaders.com specs and I use them together with glslCanvas to teach and sketch shaders.

In the same line I started a new project related to glsl shaders call phttp://ixelspiritdeck.com is a tangible glsl library on the back of tarot cards. Beside having it's own progression also present useful functions

Suggestion establishing a career as a creative coder

This isn't an issues but wasn't sure where to post the suggestion. I think this a great resource... being a creative coder is not in as high a job demand ( per keyword search indeed ) than as a systems or engineer programmer. yet, I see many examples of creative coding on fwa and Awwwards. Maybe we can include info or blog posts on the subject.

Add Notch (www.notch.one)

Haven't tried it myself yet, but Notch seems so be a great software tool for realtime graphics and virtual reality. Seening really nice stuff get posted on Insta tagged with #madewithnotch recently.

[Dead links] - Tyler Hobbs blog

Hello,

Tyler Hobbs changed a bit his blog so the links « Tips to Improve Your Generative Artwork » and « Working With Color in Generative Art » are half-dead.

This should look like this.

#### Other
- [Tips to Improve Your Generative Artwork](https://tylerxhobbs.com/essays/2018/tips-to-improve-your-generative-artwork) - Tips to make your art look better.
- [Working With Color in Generative Art](https://tylerxhobbs.com/essays/2016/working-with-color-in-generative-art) - Tips on how to get color right.

proposition of new links to add

Hi,
Thank's a lot for you great work.
I propose to you some new links to add, if you are interested :

Best regards,
Greg

Adding Museums/Locations?

How about adding a section with Museums or similar institutions that focus on generative art, creative coding related art and technology related artworks? In my region e.g., there's ZKM in Karlsruhe. I'd be happy to open a PR

Automatically closed PRs

It seems that the main branch name got changed from master to main, which closed all open PRs. Is there any plan to open them back?
