rain-gauge-card's Issues

Grid/Horizontal Stack with UV Index and Rain Gauge displays a shorter Rain Gauge tile

After updating to the newest versions of both the UV index and Rain Gauge integrations the rain gauge card is now shorter when putting both the UV index and Rain Gauge cards in a horizontal stack or side-by-side in a grid. Prior to this the UV Index card was shorter and the Rain Gauge card went the whole length. Just looking for both tiles to be the same size.

Inches

Can you make this so it can also do In/hr for US? Really like it

Fill Color Setting

A setting to change the fill color would be great. If not, does anyone know how to change it using card_mod?

Rain drop should not be filled if there was no rain today

Checklist:

  • [ X ] I updated to the latest version available

Release with the issue: 1.3.0

Last working release (if known): n/a

Browser and Operating System: all of them

Description of problem:
If there is 0.0mm of daily rain, there is still some water in the rain drop bubble.
So looking briefly on the dashboard it'd look like it had rained today when it really didn't.

Expectation:
Rain drop should be empty (no blue fill), if there wasn't any actual rain.
Would be great if this can be adjusted. I think using 188 as the "rainlevel" instead of 180 will drop the blue box deep enough that it is not visible if there is 0 actual rainfall.

Ability to change size of rain drop

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...]

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to be able to use this in a horizontal stacked card but the icon is too large to fit my dashboard. Same for the uv card. Those two together are too tall for my use case.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Power flow card

Not sure if this is in the scope of this card, but would love to see one day a rain gauge that has a water tank and a house attached.
That way you can see the water usage of the house, the rainfall and the water tank in relation to eachother.

Ability to increase the maximum total

At the moment the maximum is set to 40 mm, it would be nice to be able to increase this value for others who has a higher daily total.
This will be optional.

Proportional resizing of image in card

Currently if size of card is 1x1 not standard 1x2 text is over image.

type: horizontal-stack
cards:
  - type: custom:rain-gauge-card
    entity: sensor.daily_rain_rate_2
    hourly_rate_entity: sensor.hourly_rain_rate_2
  - type: custom:uv-index-card
    entity: sensor.uv_index

Gap bellow UV index is also strange.

Rain level not updating

Sensor not updating?

It's rained quite a lot today but there's no data showing. BTW I'm in Scotland, it does rain a lot!

Config:
type: custom:rain-gauge-card
entity: sensor.rain_daily

Am I missing something?

Many thanks.
