Image filters for gl-react and gl-react-native
I was wondering if you had any suggestions on performance. On an iPhone 6s+ it seems to do ok, but on iPhone 5 it's very choppy. Any ideas on how to correct?
Render part of code:
<ImageFilter height={image.size.height} width={image.size.width} {...imageFilterProps}>
{image.uri}
</ImageFilter>
I have an option to select each value (sepia, hue, saturation, etc.). I use the slider to apply the filter. I setState to change the value.
My imageFilterProps is an object that has all of the keys you specify in the docs. The component works but it's slow on older phones. Any ideas?

semantic-release is a devDependency of this project. It might not break your production code or affect downstream projects, but probably breaks your build or test tools, which may prevent deploying or publishing.

You can apply filters to an image but, how to store the filtered image on disk?
To see what happens to your code in Node.js 10, Greenkeeper has created a branch with the following changes:
.travis.yml
If you’re interested in upgrading this repo to Node.js 10, you can open a PR with these changes. Please note that this issue is just intended as a friendly reminder and the PR as a possible starting point for getting your code running on Node.js 10.
Greenkeeper has checked the engines
key in any package.json
file, the .nvmrc
file, and the .travis.yml
file, if present.
engines
was only updated if it defined a single version, not a range..nvmrc
was updated to Node.js 10.travis.yml
was only changed if there was a root-level node_js
that didn’t already include Node.js 10, such as node
or lts/*
. In this case, the new version was appended to the list. We didn’t touch job or matrix configurations because these tend to be quite specific and complex, and it’s difficult to infer what the intentions were.For many simpler .travis.yml
configurations, this PR should suffice as-is, but depending on what you’re doing it may require additional work or may not be applicable at all. We’re also aware that you may have good reasons to not update to Node.js 10, which is why this was sent as an issue and not a pull request. Feel free to delete it without comment, I’m a humble robot and won’t feel rejected 🤖

Just noticed this:
Branch | Build failing 🚨 |
---|---|
Dependency | gl-react-temperature |
Current Version | 2.0.0 |
Type | dependency |
This version is covered by your current version range and after updating it in your project the build failed.
gl-react-temperature is a direct dependency of this project, and it is very likely causing it to break. If other packages depend on yours, this update is probably also breaking those in turn.

I see you have included component in readme. I am unable to get this thing? In package.json gl-react and gl-react-native are not mentioned anywhere as dependencies.
Do i have to install these libraries to make this work as component is part of these libraries?
HI @Stoffern.
I tried to use this module with latest React and gl-react@^2.2.5
but I faced couple of issues:
gl-react-sharpen
produces:You are trying to use GLSL from gl-react v2 but this feature is only available in gl-react v3. Please upgrade gl-react or downgrade any library that expect gl-react v3
Feel free to let me know if I'm doing something wrong or if that's known issues; I'd be able to come with PR for the PropTypes error; not sure how what to do with gl-react-sharpen
.
hi i want to install gl-react-image. when i want to run this i get the error "undefined is not a object"

Working with React-Native
,
i've just installed the whole stuff:
from my package.json:
"gl-react": "^2.3.1",
"gl-react-imagefilters": "^0.1.9",
"gl-react-native": "^2.48.0",
but when i add import ImageFilter from 'gl-react-imagefilters'
i got that warning:
Can't find variable: Component
<unknown>
Negative.js:33
@ that line i got from Negative.js
the following code :
var Negative = function (_Component) {
_inherits(Negative, _Component);
function Negative() {
_classCallCheck(this, Negative);
return _possibleConstructorReturn(this, (Negative.__proto__ || Object.getPrototypeOf(Negative)).apply(this, arguments));
}
_createClass(Negative, [{
key: "render",
value: function render() {
var _props = this.props,
t = _props.children,
factor = _props.factor;
return _react2.default.createElement(_glReact.Node, {
shader: shaders.Negative,
uniforms: {
t: t,
factor: factor
}
});
}
}]);
return Negative;
}(Component);
How to let Negative.js access to Component (React.Component?) ?
Did i miss something ?
Please 😄
Hi @Stoffern, I get an error when trying to run my RN project after installing this lib as a dep. I think it is because react is included as a dep instead of a peer dep.
