Hi

Currently running Helix on Prometheus using openelec. I installed Muzu.tv from Superrepo repository music addons. Since install addon enabled however nothing appears in menu, list is clear. Tried reinstalling, restarting box and also disabling addon and enabling again. Nothing appears to resolve the issue.
Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure it's super favourites issue but if not please clarify..
At the widget (Aeon Nox Custom widget) I insert the URL:
plugin://plugin.program.super.favourites/?mode=400&path=special://profile/addon_data/plugin.program.super.favourites/Super Favourites/YOUR_FOLDER_NAME&_options_sf
At the widget, I do get a list of addons that belong to the specific folder as expected but when an addon is clicked (For example an addon that is a video addon) it opens the whole video addons list instead of the addon I clicked on.
When it's open in a new window (ActivateWindow call) it works as expected.

When used this way, it is working only if one word is present. If multiple words are present, it is not working.
I am trying to use the isearch function in an addon.

edit:
I found the issue. This addon shout use "+" instead of "space"
For example if a listed item is "two words", it should isearch for "two+words" instead of "two words".
Any ideea how i can fix it using superfavorites?

Scenario:

• open Exodus and search for some show or movie
• press c and "Add to Super Favourites"
• go into "Super Favourites" folder and press OK
• go to Super Favourites add-on and press enter on the added show/movie
• screen just flickers couple of times and nothing happens.

The same procedure works for Silent Hunter.

My saved zip file is from Kodi 17.6 SF v1.0.59. Could this be the reason for the error msg "FAILED TO IMPORT SUPER FAVOURITES".

When trying to install the zip receive back dependencies not met with newest version of watchcartoononline 1.0.10 :( also tried installing the repo but I'm getting does not have correct structure. future fixes for these issues?

SF works very slow to open Favoritlists. Since kodi 17 it needs maybe 30sec or 1 minut. At Kodi 16 it was fine and fast. Even videos needs 2 minuts after starts until u can click at the timeline and move back and forward.

I use SF for my entire setup and I notice that when I go back at any stage, it takes me back via Sf, rather than back to the last page I was on. This means I feel have to keep going back several times, via all my Sf folders and then video addons just to get back to the previous screen (or home screen). Could this be made so that back only takes you back to where you were, not back in the addon it's self? PS. Good to see you back :)

Anyway, my issue. It appears when a video host is selected that contains WatchCartoonOnline #1 576p HD....WCO can not play it. But, the second selection, WatchCartoonOnline #2 720p HD, will play. This is with AUTOPLAY enabled. Any way to discard/ignore the stream that contains 576p?

The Kodi log shows this when the 576p stream attempts to play...

The default.py>def GetLinkIndex seems to be the section that sorts the streams into individual selections.

I love the concept of Music Slideshow so much - thanks for making it, spoyser! My only issue is that when running, it basically takes over the remote control scheme of Kodi. In other words, when I hit pause, it pauses the slideshow, and not the music.

Is there a way to make it run better in the background, almost like a screensaver? Or maybe it'd be classified as a "visualizer" for XBMC/Kodi. Either way, I'd just like for it to do the slideshow of related artwork, without impeding usual music playback and navigation.

I disabled super favourites and kodi got stuck. I waited like ten minutes. I had to hard reboot.

I'm trying to setup Kodi popcorn time to play movies from super favorites in iSearch but can't figure out this. Can anyone help with this?:

Hi there. I saw an earlier topic of a guy that wanted to get the folder xml files from http. I also tried this and cannot get it to work. I want to make a super favorites playlist of my music my home network to access from my work machine. I tried http like the mattmartinolc username and I can get thru on my router to my home server running nas4free. But I could not get the super favorite to load.

So I saw him say he got it working on FTP and I wondered why I did not try that before. I have been attempting to get it done and have had marginal success and think I am missing something simple. I am able to now access all the folders in the super favourites add-on. But if I add any of them to kodi favorites they stop working. When I look at it I think the paths looks correct. But it only launches from navigating within the addon. While I can live with that, I have many lists made over time and I wanted to just launch the ones that are appropriate for work

I might be doing something wrong. I will re-create my steps here so maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong.

I forwarded port 21 on my router to my home server on 10.0.0.250 IP. I can access it with filezilla so that part is good.

I opened up the setting.xml file in the super favorites folder and changed the special://url to my ftp like this "ftp://(myusername).ddns.net/faves/" - The "Super Favorites" folder is in there with my lists copied from the machine storage at home so all the same.

So in nutshell I can open them up and access lists, but I cannot favourite.

I hope I was easy to understand - I am not a programmer but I think I can post logs

I had the back issue with video addons but in understand now i had to point my menu path through " addons / video addons / superFavourites" now works perfectly.

Only issue, i have now : i have a Music section in my menu, but when i point the path through " addons / music addons/ superFavourites etc..." it works when i go back but there is a double screen display issue when i fistr click on my new path link.

hi, i'm new here, but i have problem with this watchcartoononline addon, it unable to play video, the addon version is 1.1.7 by dandy and the repo is kodil repo, it cannot play video just january 2018, last december 2017 the addon just fine, please help, thx again

Hello, I notice that if I uninstall an addon, rather than it disappearing from superfaves, the missing addon (with missing thumbnail etc) still shows in superfave folders unless I delete it manually. I thought the setting to hide unavailable addons would fix this, but in my case it doesn't.

Also, a small secondary gripe - it would be great if I can access addon information via SF folders. If I want to uninstall something, I can't do it from any of the many SF folders I use - I have to go the long way via settings>vid addons. Not sure if there's a logical reason for this, but it would be great to do quickly from a context menu via SF.

Hi, unfortunately video playback is not working.
Running Krypton(alpha1) on RPI2 with OSMC.
Starting with Kodi 17, DVDPLAYER is now named VIDEOPLAYER, so I replaced it in the "default.py", still no success.
Note, since updating to Kodi v17, the videos didn't play(with or without the change of DVDPLAYER).
With Kodi16 it works fine.

Not sure what is going on. When I start kodi on any of two windows machines, and one android machine all running kodi 16.1 Jarvis there is a message just after startup "Super Favourites error. Check log for more information". Yet the superfavourites lists all work and everything seems fine. Nothing I can find in the log either.

I have a build that has a growing number of users. I do updates to it every once in a while but I was wondering if there was a way to set the super favourites folder as http://mydomain.com/folder instead of special://path-to-folder?

This way I can change or edit lists for everyone and their machines should just pick it up without needing to run an update. I tried putting in the path manually in settings.xml and the lists just load blank. Directory listing is enabled on the server.

I receive this error both on Android than on MacOSX. I'm using last stable release of Kodi (17.6). I tried with a downgrade with version on Kodi repository (1.0.43) but it's the same...

I am doing a project through your phenomenal addon to link my collection of movies uploaded to different google accounts. I love the potential and the possibilities of this addon, but there is a detail that I would like to see covered regarding the images that illustrate each of the titles. The point is that when indicating the path of these images (fanart or thumbnail) it cannot be done in any other way than local. Is there a way to code a url within the super favorites.xml file?

I would like them to offer that possibility to avoid overloading my devices with kodi, in the case of 300 films.

I have a mix of youtube and internet archive movies and movie serials in one of my super favorites folder. I used to be able select the Play Super Folder and everything would play or i could select a playlist and it and everything after that item would play within that folder (i.e., PLAY-FROM-HERE menu selection was available). Now the only option available is to select Play Super Folder, but this doesn't work if your subfolders are from youtube or internet archive. Sometimes i can get the playlist to play but the "playback failed" error message pops up in the middle of the screen and if i clear the message, the item closed and goes back to the playlist. I have no problem with my anime super favorites folders the play-from-here option is available. I have my autoplay playlists turned on in the main settings. What else can i do to get my youtube and internet archive playlists to autoplay.

I'm running recalbox on my RPi1. Recalbox comes with kodi integration.

When I install super favourites my XBox controller stops working. Except the X button, wich opens the context menu. Disabling super favourites and deleting the "special://prfile/keymaps/super_facourites_menu.xml" makes the controller work again (restart needed). I guess the keymap file somehow confilcts with the one, recalbox puts there:

When viewing a comic strip, are there keyboard control that allow to go to next or previous image within same comic? I've been looking around for any info on the plugin and how to navigate but have found nothing so far.

Big fan of your work...especially Super Favourites. :).

But, I also use watchcartoononline. When the kids try to watch Spongebob (the series) the episode lists two (sometimes three) cartoons for that episode, but when you try to play it only the first cartoon is played. On the watchcartoonsonline.eu website each Spongebob cartoon is broken down into individually named episode. Example S1 Ep1a, S1 Ep1b, S1 Ep1c, S1 Ep2a, S1 Ep2b, etc..

Hopefully some logic can be added to correct this. Minor point I grant you but the kids are only seeing half of the episode...and they love Spongebob.

Yesterday i was watching some shows, and then it started playing the first 30 seconds, i didnt think much of it and went to sleep. when i got on today it wont play ANYTHING, it keeps saying Unidentified video host, i was running Super repo on 14.0 Helix, i updated to 15.2 just to test, still broken. is this something you did, or my internet, or the watch cartoons online website itself?

I'm creating a super favourite's widget for my theme. I'm trying to figure out the protocol path for getting the favourite items for a particular label within super favourite addon.

For example, I've created a label News and added bunch of news channels to that label or folder of super favourite. Now I can browse those news channels when I open the super favourite addon and go to News folder. But what is the protocol url for accessing that particular folder (i'm sure somwhere in code the menu link must have been created, but not sure what it looks like)? I've tried:

plugin://plugin.program.super.favourites/label=News&mode=650

but this just gives listing of home directory of the plugin instead of News. Can you provide some information on how this protocol url is constructed for plugin menus? Does it need more parameters?

The episode name improvement should not omit the series name when it differs from the name of the main series. See for example "Gravity Falls". The gravity falls short episodes (that are also in the folder) should not have the series title removed. In the current version they are merged with the list, thus we have two times episode 1.
I will fix this issue as soon as possible and make a pull request.
