Description

I'm tired of using multiple tools to create a single icon with multiple image sizes inside. I found some similar tools, but not for free. So I just created my own.

I needed a tool that loads a single image and depending on the size it creates all the lower sizes with the best possible quality. It's also possible to manually change each image for all sizes before saving, the size will be adjusted automatically.

Requirements:

Microsoft Windows 7 or higher
Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4.8.1+

Requirements (Developer):

Microsoft Windows 11
- Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 should work well, but is no longer tested
Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 + .NET Framework 4.7.2 SDK

The created ico's size is only 16 * 16

i can't resize it.
i used it → https://github.com/Si13n7/ImageToIcon/releases

How to Save at a particular Size?

When saving the ico, it defaults to 16x16px. I'd like my file to be 256x256px. How do you do that, please? It's not clear. When I click on the 256px box, I get pinged to my last folder to select an image for conversion - so I'm going round in circles.

Looks like a good little tool but no instructions found. Thanks for any help.

Save and convert in bulk

Hello and thanks for this small neat useful app! Could this app save all sizes at once, open multiple images and convert to .ico in bulk?

Hello, I found this useful tool and wanted to know if you could add .webp support?

Save to a shared path will cause fatal error

It's a Nice tool. Only noticed one problem.
Save file to a windows shared path such as \\192.168.1.43\shared will cause a fatal error. It may be the issue of file utils.
I have to change the code , save icon to temp path first, and then copy to destination.
