Hello, Scott,

When trying to run your quick example code from the README file, I get the following error:

AttributeError: module 'scprep.run' has no attribute 'install_bioconductor'

I installed a fresh copy of Python 3.7 (Anaconda), and ran the following before trying to implement your example:

conda install pip
pip install git+https://github.com/scottgigante/DEMaP
conda install rpy2

All of the installations seemed to work.

Any thoughts?

Hello, Scott,

Sorry to bother you again. I'm getting issues with the version of rpy2 installed using conda. The rpy2 version installed using conda is 2.9.4, but the import requires rpy2>=3.0.

I have tried upgrading using pip/reinstalling using pip, but I get errors such as 'sh' is not recognized as an internal or external command. I am running python 3.7.6.

Hi Scott,

Sorry to bother you again. I have tried running your code on Ubuntu 18.04 but ran into more issues. The most current version of R available on Ubuntu is 3.4.4, but splatter requires an updated version of R. What software/platform were you using to run the code? I'm just wondering if I may need to install on older version of splatter.
