hoverboard-board-hack's Issues

Create odometry message

@salviador For many robots odometry is very actual. The odometry message can look like VESC drivers odometry message ore just short mesage with time and number of sectors for each wheels

Firmware does not work all i get is a bleep when i press the start button

Thank u for this very good project here and all the documentation on hackaday. I followed every instruction to the letter and the calibration seams to work and got all my offset values and feed them into config.h but when i make and load the firmware to run the motors all i get is the board powering up for a sec when i press the start button i hear a bleep and see the red led flashing for a sec then it all turns off. I tryed uncommenting debug and the workaround line but i get a similar behaviour. What is the issue?
Also can u write the exact syntax that u used to send the - L20, R20 comand to the board using minicom please?
Thanks

Original firmware

Where did you find the original firmware from which you developed this one?
And if you did this from scratch, is there a version with the original hoverboard behaviour?

how to program board?

Hi
I will like to use it for the hoverboard i have. How did you reprogram the board? can you upload a picture with the pin you use to reprogram the stm32. also where did you connected the bluetooth mod.

I have some used hoverboard that i can provide to you for your testing if you need.

Which IDE do you use?

Hi, Which IDE have you used for compiling the code?
There is a group of us really interested in using it for making some small electric vehicles using hoverboard motors and the power control.
