Firstly, the export command allows the user to export all transactions (inclusive of income and expense), which is not available in the data folder. Next, the purpose of the data folder is to maintain the persistence of the program to prevent user from needing to edit the files in the event they may remove some columns before sharing the files with others.

Furthermore, the columns of the store file and the Transactions file are different, in which column such as "Has next recurrence" is used for the program to generate recurring transactions which is not needed for the user to view.
