Thanks for the issue. I'm not sure we should add this to the wiki though. In many deployment scenarios, you don't persist these settings across reboots, but apply this just before starting the binary. I also don't want to make this any more platform-dependent as it needs to be.

You need to add a note that explains that it's not persisted then. I think it's entirely reasonable to assume the instructions you'd give do persist.
