About

SOS (Simple Operating System) is a very basic multiprocess operating system that runs on x86 machines. It was implemented as a university task.

Currently it only runs in 32bit mode.

Build requirements

$ apt install g++ xxd make nasm

user-programs with more than 130mb when using -oformat binary

Hi i really apreciate what you did in your OS i'm trying to compile it but the user-programs are getting this huge size when linking using -oformat binary i'm compiling it in a ubuntu linux distro. i searched in the internet and i didn't found a solution.

Use HLT in IdleProcess

It should reduce CPU usage.

Use `#pragma once` instead of include guards

It is supportted by gcc and clang and has obvious advantages.
