Build failure on QubesOS using debian-11 VM about menyoki HOT 6 CLOSED

Installing librust-x11-dev package allows it to be build without the need for PKG_CONFIG_ALLOW_CROSS

from menyoki.

It's because pkg-config cannot find xlib on the system. Make sure that it's installed and try running cargo build command with PKG_CONFIG_ALLOW_CROSS environment variable set. (e.g. PKG_CONFIG_ALLOW_CROSS=1 cargo build)

Edit: Instead of cargo build, try cargo install.

Solution is:

# dnf provides */x11.pc
libX11-devel-1.6.12-3.fc33.x86_64 : Development files for libX11
