Async writing on Ubuntu produces weird clicking noises. I think this could be caused by gaps in the signal; for instance, the system is not writing the sound data fast enough, or the data is being clipped, or some parts of the low level audio api are not reporting correct information.

The Ubuntu I'm using is 11.04 which at this time is still in beta, so the bug could be from Ubuntu's sound system.

The problem can be seen in several of the accompanying examples, like examples/piano.html and examples/score.html

To reproduce, just open any of these files on Ubuntu 11.04

I tried on several machines running Windows 7 and the problem doesn't exist there.
