mixedreality-unreal-samples's Issues

Memory leak issue with builds from UE4

Hello all, I am looking for help with a memory leak issue when i compile from unreal for hololens2.

We have narrowed down this issue to UE4 building to H2. We have stripped everything from our project and compile an app running nothing and it seems the memory is still slowly filling up.

We have scoured the Hololens2, the temp directories and we cannot find wherever these files are written to. Clearing memory does not fix the issue.

We have tethered the device and run ever command line tool on earth to search the device memory. We can find nothing.

The only way to reclaim the space is to completely reformat the device with a fresh install of the OS.

Any one else see this behaviour or have any tips?

I am posting this in a few places to look for help. Thx

How the client adds a gesture controller?

After passing the local test, the location information of multiplayer pawns can be synchronized. However, when using the OpenXR plugin to add left and right hands for gesture control of objects in the Pawn, I encountered a problem and found that the gesture control of the object was not possible and the hand ray could not be detected

App crashes when trying to connect

I have been trying to make something similiar to the HL2Collab example for a while now.
However, everytime when I try to connect the Hololens to the server it just crashes.
Even when making my application exactly like HL2Collab example it won't connect.
Running the server on the desktop and connecting the Hololens results in getting a black screen for approximately 10seconds before the app shuts down.
Since what update has joining a server been possible? (Hololens 2 Windows update)
I have been trying to update Windows but it keeps stuck on preparing the update.

Hopefully you can shed some light on what is happening here.

System.Security.Cryptography missing

When I'm trying to create a package, I have constantly the following error :
image
It only happen with the HL2Collab and Hololens2Exemple, not the ChessApp.
Even if a create a new Certificate or not, a secured one or not, whatever, I'm still stuck.
Any idea ?

Error Hosting Server on HL2Collab

When trying to Host by pressing H key I am getting the following

LogOnlineSession: Warning: OSS: Cannot create session 'GameSession': session already exists.

I tried building the project and connecting with another client. Still not able to host .
