csgosl's Issues

ckSurf on csgosl

When trying to install the cksurf plugin to my server through the server files, the plugin requires the mapcycle.txt to contain the list of current maps on the server. but csgosl overwrites his file. i have added the map list through csgosl, but when in game i am unable to change the map to one of the surf maps in the map group, although the server does launch on a surf map, but not the one in startmap. so i think this plugin is pretty much not going to work with csgosl. also the error log for cksurf contained the following lines:
L 08/17/2016 - 08:26:10: SourceMod error session started
L 08/17/2016 - 08:26:10: Info (map "de_dust") (file "errors_20160817.log")
L 08/17/2016 - 08:26:10: [SM] Plugin encountered error 25: Call was aborted
L 08/17/2016 - 08:26:10: [SM] Native "SetFailState" reported: [ckSurf] Unable to connect to database (Configuration "cksurf" not found)
L 08/17/2016 - 08:26:10: [SM] Displaying call stack trace for plugin "ckSurf.smx":
L 08/17/2016 - 08:26:10: [SM] [0] Line 158, ckSurf/sql.sp::db_setupDatabase()
L 08/17/2016 - 08:26:10: [SM] [1] Line 1849, D:\ckSurf\csgo\addons\sourcemod\scripting\ckSurf.sp::OnPluginStart()
L 08/17/2016 - 08:31:51: Error log file session closed.

I would like to run a surf server through csgosl but it seems there are some compatibility issues.
please reply if you have any suggestions for how to reinstall the plugin so it will work properly with my server. also if you have a solution for the map issue.

Also, when the server is launched the bots cannot be kicked and the server is not recognizing my Steam Game Server Account. it automatically sets the server to anonymous and sets a separate code.

Thanks.

My server wont start

youtube video

okei, so I was recording with audio, but my mic didnt work, so I'm going to use the video and type here what my issue is...

FYI: I have installed the server multiple times and tried over and over again, but it seems the issue is with the server-start.bat file or whatever its called....

but to the issue and how it is, I try to press the start server button, and when I do that I get transfered to the run page, no harm done (I think) and then nothing happens, so I go over to the console tab and I see the command that doesnt work (that you can see in the video) but I can start the server by removing what is in front of the normal command that the program sends, but then it crashes, so I'm not sure what I have done wrong, I dont even think I have done anything wrong, I really do want to use this program but it seems that I have to go back to the oldschool way, eventhough the oldschool way is really unpractical with all this new shit like steam api etc

Implement full support for reenabling banprotection

The following steps should be available on the sourcemod config page as a button:

  1. Enable the banprotection option on the config page.
  2. Manually remove the sourcemod installation folder. It is located in the server/csgosl/addons folder where you installed csgosl.
  3. Click "Update server" to reinstall sourcemod (but now without the "bad" plugin files since banprotection is enabled)

How to enable franug mods with online server?

Hey guys,

can someone help me? A few friends of mine wanna play with the mods enabled over the Internet.
I know the risk and I don't care so plz help me.
Which config do I have to edit so that we can finally play?

Thanks for your help!

Overwritten configs.

Possible to add an option if you want the GUIs option to overwrite the "hard" edited files or not?
I'll rather just use the GUI to start the server with some basic stuff like max players, lan only and do all the settings by myself in the files.

Some of the settings doesn't even seem to work. Like roundtime is set to 3min in both GUI and server.cfg and it still is 5min rounds. Bots are set to 0 in both GUI and server.cfg and still gives me 5-6 bots in each team on connect.

Also maybe an option to use the admin_simple.cfg instead of GUI, seems much tougher to add admins with specific flags and immunity in the GUI but that might just be me.

Automatically detect installed map changes

When maps are manually installed or when workshop maps are hosted csgosl needs to be restarted in order to see the added/deleted maps. Do this dynamically without restart.

Windows 10: Won't execute, opens in Notepad++

So it seems like I don't know how to make this work.
You say we must doubleclick on the vbs file, but if I do that, it just opens in Notepad++.
Even if I tell Windows 10 to open the file with "Microsoft® Windows Based Script Host".

Are there some dependencies you haven't mentioned?
Visual Studio or something?

Advanced Launch Options not found

I'm making a minigame server and as some minigames may be locked because these launch options are available without csgosl, I don't want to have to go through console everytime I start it back up again. The thing is I can't find launch options in console or run. This hasn't been posted in the wiki.

Only one csgo server per host supported

This is really just a matter of fixing the status script which detects if a server is running and the script which kills the server so that they take into account the path to the server.

Connected to issue about finding better way to kill server under linux

friendlyfire dosn't change

Hello, i'm trying to set the friendlyfire option to 1, but the server always start up with 0, i tried to change it checking the box option, changing the value on gamemodes_all.cfg, and even tried changing the values on gamemode_competitive_server.cfg, but it dosn't work. Can you help me?

Virtual options always overwrites actual options

A "virtual option", i.e. an option which csgosl introduces (e.g. immediaterestart) typically maps to one or more actual csgo options. Virtual options would need a kind of "enabled/disabled" state to control if they overwrite actual options or not. If disabled -> will not overwrite.

No Steam Token Detected

I am paraphrasing in the title but is basically says my CSLT is not being used and it is restricting it to lan. I have double checked it is in correctly and even generated a new one for appid 730. I even double checked my apiauthkey.

Also I can't for the life of my find the plugins folder. I tried the csgo/addons/sourcemod/plugins but I can't find an addons folder for server/csgo/addons/sourcemod/plugins (this might be an issue on my part)

EDIT: So I managed to get it to go online by enabling ban protection. I also managed to get it to go online by providing my own command line in a manual start BUT none of the plugins seem to load.

Startmap overridden by workshop collection

I have a custom workshop id (XXXXXXXX) and startmap id (XXXXXXXXX) inside both of the text boxes. However, although it seems to be listening to hosting the workshop collection, the startmap parameter won't work.

Admin isn't working

Added my Steam id to both the admin field and the server host field with "make me admin" checkbox enabled. Neither of these are allowing me admin access.

Unable to close the csgosl window

When I try to close the csgosl window, it starts behaving weird. The window stays open nonetheless, but it becomes completely unresponsive - the interface doesn't react to my input. The only way to close it is to kill the process.

OS: Debian Jessie x64
Desktop environment: XFCE
Additional info: Using NVidia proprietary drivers

Control state of config items based on other config items

Need to be able to define relations like "if widget1 is enabled disable widget2 and widget3". Needed e.g. for bots and fillwithbots settings which are always enabled now. bots should only be enabled if fillwithbots is disabled.

Investigate upnp

Could perhaps be used to automatically configure router port forwarding

Unable to start csgosl: can't find package Img

kamil@debian:~/Pulpit/csgosl$ ./csgosl.sh
can't find package Img
    while executing
"package require Img"
    (file "bin/csgosl.tcl" line 7)

That's what happens when I'm trying to start csgosl on Debian Jessie.
Am I doing something wrong?

I cant get more source mod plugins

This might be just me doing something wrong, but i cant get my plugins working on the source mod. I found that there are 2 places in the files where it stores the source mods, might it be conflicting with each other?

where do i put my server files?

Not really a bug, but i already got a server running (only with steamcmd), so i dont want to download the 15/16gig again, when migrating to a nice server GUI. What files go where? Any help maybe?

The standard config is wrong (everymode)

you dont get a starting pistol when you start a clean install, even on competitive, I ran in to this issue when I was going to have a Gather, but fixed it with a plugin called Pugsetup, really annoying and I cant find the command to get it back either:/
