What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use multiple layouts for the same language, E.g. German and Dvorak layout 
with German language.
2. Assign a different shortcut to each layout in keyla, then close keyla.
3. Open keyla.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The assigned shortcuts should be the same as entered previously, but
the assigned shortcut is set to the same value for all layouts.

Also, the language displayed by keyla is not the same as displayed by Windows 
language bar. It is the language of regional settings, which may be a different 
one from the keyboard layout language. Keyla should use the latter (e.g. the 
language of Dvorak layout is English, even if selected language in regional 
settings is German).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

используется Caps Lock.

Установлены русский и японский языки.
Список раскладок в опция keyla выглядит так:

Японский язык один, но способов ввода три. 
Два ставятся по умолчанию - Microsoft IME и Microsoft 
Natural, плюс я еще поставил Google Input, но для 
циклической смены раскладок мне нужна 
только одна из них - №2, кстати, т.к. в 
диалоге настроек keyla они все называются 
одинаково "Japanese", приходится методом тыка 
подбирать нужную). После перезапуска 
программы, из строчки №2 слетает галочка 
"Yes" и приходится каждый раз ставить вручную.

1. Install and start Keyla on a Windows 8 box (no special treatment here);
2. Observe that switching works just fine, then lock the screen using Win+L;
3. Unlock the screen, and find that switching no longer works.

There is one problem about Keyla which would be nice to solve: it doesn't fully 
disable Caps lock behaviour. I can turn on Caps lock with shift+caps 
combination.

I use Keyla to disable Caps and use Caps as a layout switcher. Sometimes I 
press shift+caps accidentally and it costs about 10-20 seconds to bring it back.

Could you please disable shift+caps or add such option in settings?

раскладки,
то:
1) в поле для отображения 
кнопки-переключателя будет пусто;
2) правый Shift перестает работать как 
модификатор других клавиш;

P.S. Могу ошибраться, но кажется, что у обеих 
клавиш Shift одинаковые -скан-коды, поэтому их 
невозможно различить.

2. Press and hold the modifier key (Left Ctrl), press and hold the hot key to 
switch layout (9), release the modifier key, release the hot key
3. Press any other key (e.g. a)

The modifier key appears like "stuck". Any key sequence entered is processed 
like the Ctrl key was held down.

This is only reset when pressing the modifier key and releasing it again.

3. Notice that very often, you will end up with shift stuck, and/or caps-lock

I expect that when I hit shift+caps lock, so that the shortcut kicks in and 
layout changes, the state of both caps-lock and shift shall remain what they 
were before the layout changed.

There is clearly some logic breach going on when the state of the Shift key end 
up remaining pressed after the shortcut kicks in.

1. Configure keyla with 2 layouts and a shortcut
2. Enable "Global layout"
3. Use the shortcut to switch layouts

I expect the icons to cycle. But sometimes, the icon doesn't change.

This seems to be related to the active window. It works for 3rd party programs, 
but not for "windows accessories".  I have confirmed that while these are 
active, the icon doesn't update:
- notepad
- windows explorer
- command prompt (cmd)
- wordpad
- no active window (e.g. focus on desktop)

Note that the layout switching itself does work as expected. Just the icon 
update fails.

If I switch layouts in a non-working window (notepad) and then change focus to 
a working window (my browser), the icon updates.


When "Global layout" is disabled, the problem remains.  But the icon is updated 
when the non-working window regains focus.  For example:
In notepad: change from layout1 to layout2, icon1 stays
Focus to browser: icon1 stays (as expected, browser is still using layout1)
Focus to notepad: icon1 changes to icon2

Предложение для усовершенствования - 
возможность полностью скрывать иконку. Я, 
и, вполне возможно, другие пользователи, в 
Windows 8 использую стандартный переключатель 
- он не выбивается из общего внешнего вида. 
И иконка оказывается лишней, даже среди 
скрытых иконок в трее - тогда зачем она 
вообще нужна?

ИЕ9 падает при попытке переключения 
раскладки по Caps =)

В приложениях вроде нормально пробовал 
ворд, ексель, 1с, браузеры. Не переключается 
иконка в экспрорере.. тоесть я просто хочу 
переименовать папку, или файл язык 
переключается а иконка не меняется. так же 
не переключает значек в блокноте.

They work fine with keyla 0.1.8.

Windows XP x86 без домена, включено быстрое 
переключение пользователей.
1. Пользователь keyla нажимает Win+L для 
блокировки.
2. Поскольку нет домена и включено быстрое 
переключение пользователей, выход 
происходит на страницу приветствия.
3. Если вернуться в загруженный профиль и 
попытаться продолжить работу, 
переключение в keyla не работает, раскладка 
заморожена на момент нажатия Win+L.

Лечится повторным нажатием той же клавиши 
Win (левой или правой), которой была 
произведена блокировка.

As I remember AutoHotKey not worked in Miranda too.

I think this is some of Windows capability problem related to cmd-like 
applications and some kind of special layout-handling in Miranda.

Tested on Windows XP. Version of Miranda is close to current latest stable

В программах, запущенных из-под админа не 
срабатывает хоткей переключения раскладки 
(в моем случае капс лок). С этим что-то можно

correct in the keyla tray icon. It does not catch the change. Even pressing 
shortcut defined in keyla does not change the icon (but the key layout is

Would be nice to be able to switch to the next keyboard by clicking once on the 
icon in the tray

1. Install Adobe Acrobat Reader 10.1.1 english version on window 7 32bit 
english version.
2. Use keyla with another keyboard layout as english
3. When you start adobe acrobat reader with english layout, everything is ok. 
When you than change layout, adobe reader will stop. When I disable keyla, 
Adobe reader has not problem with another layouts like slovak or czech layout. 
The same issue is with IE9.

It took me a long time, including a clean reimaging of the drive, and 
reinstalling apps one by one, to figure this out. Obviously, the chances of 
Microsoft changing anything are pretty much nil, so I hope you can figure out 
what the problem is and fix it. There were no problems with Lync 2010; freezing 
started with Lync 2013.

System и т.п.) могут использовать выбранную 
комбинацию переключения в своих целях. 
Хорошо бы иметь возможность добавлять их в 
список исключения обработки кейкодов.

Не нашел в v0.1.9 какого либо способа узнать 
установленную версию программы. Было бы 
неплохо добавить мелкое окошко "About". Если 
оно будет еще и обновления проверять - 
вообще блеск.

Предлагаю сделать интересную возможность: 
сбрасывать глобальную раскладку на 
стандартную (например, английскую) по 
таймеру (например, 60 секунд после 
последнего последнего напечатанного 
символа). Мне кажется, в некоторых 
ситуациях это было бы полезным.

Не работает с 64х битными программами.

Очень нужен индикатор языка возле курсора. 
Использовал пока были бесплатными AmlMaple и 
Language Indicator (не реклама) но хотелось бы иметь 
одну утилиту. Ну и соответственно - 
возможность выбора индикатора в трее и/или 
возле курсора. Желаю хеппи-кодинга в новом 
году!

Я использую раскладку Дворака на 
клавиатуре для англ.языка, 
при этом параллельно есть стандартная 
QWERTY-раскладка для анг. языка. 
Назначаю им разные горячие клавиши для 
переключения. 
После рестарта программы (перезагрузки ПК) 
горячие-клавиши на обоих раскладках 
становиться одинаковым (теми, что на 
последней англ. раскладки в списке) и 
следовательно работает хот-кей только для 
одной из них. 

Например, 
англ. Дворака и QWERTY отображаются в списке 
как 
EN - SHIFT CAPSLOCK
EN - CAPSLOCK
после перезагрузки программы становятся
EN - CAPSLOCK
EN - CAPSLOCK

I translated Keyla in French.

I renamed the two files because they have the same name. The 1st goes in "res" 
and the second in "layoutHookDll" I think.
I hope I followed your instructions correctly.

Also, I wanted to thank you for this program, it's exactly what I needed.
I talked about it to a community that promotes (and use) an alternative French 
keyboard layout (www.bepo.fr). It allows us to use it along with the 
"classical" azerty layout when needed.

407 is a german one, and c0a is a spanish

После обновления до 0.1.9 (используется 
32-битная версия keyla на Windows 7 prof 64bit русской) 
время от времени keyla перестает реагировать 
(переключать раскладки). При этом значок в 
трее есть, можно открыть настройки, они в 
порядке.
Иногда помогает открыть настройки, ткнуть 
"применить" и снова закрыть, но чаще всего 
приходится перезапускать keyla.
Параллельно запущен Punto Switcher, но его 
фунциональность по автопереключению 
раскладок отключена, оне используется 
только для исправления текста не в той 
раскладке по хоткею.

Больше ничего подозрительного не вижу, 
какую еще можно предоставить информацию?

Выборочно не работает в некоторых 
программах. Например в Task Managere (он 64-битный), 
в System Properties. Судя по всему - из-за 
администраторских привилегий.
При этом в других программах работает. 
Навскидку - Far Manager, Samplitude, notepad, wordpad, ATI Control 
Panel.

Кроме того, иконки не переключаются вообще 
нигде, кроме как в окне настроек самой 
программы и малого количества 32-битных 
программ (The Bat!, TweakNow PowerPack)

Настройка Disable other ways to switch layout не работает 
вообще никак.

Может быть стоит скомпилировать программу 
в 64-битное приложение?
