When adding members to your group, there is no easy way to find everyone. You have to know their emails or have the address ready.

If I upload an ISA-Tab file with the same investigation identifier (as a previously uploaded ISA-Tab), then I do not get a new dataset.

It can take like 45 minutes (!) to upload a file (an ISA-tab?). That itself would be bearable, but for the fact:

• it fails;
• the error message is useless #9
• there is no progress bar.

Only the file name/URL gets included under the column header "Name".

This might not be the same name as the sample name, or might be very long. You also won't be able to easily match two patients with the same name.

Only for ROSMAP and AMPAD but not for MAYO
By which I mean just clicking on the dataset, and not clicking on the "view content"

Going to GTC from genometranslationcommons.org arrives at a blank page

In a dataset we uploaded, when view in the file browser, several columns have their values combined together so that instead of displaying a column where each row has different values, each row has the same value and it is of the form "value A + value B + value C ..." where, generally, value A, value B, etc, are values that should appear in a single row.

Many scientists use abbreviations in column headers without explaining what they mean, we should either avoid this or have a key somewhere for the researchers to fill out

Trying to upload isatab results in either a long period of nothing, or a short period (about 5 seconds) of nothing and then an error saying "Something went terribly wrong".

It needs filling in.

At the moment when the ISA-tab upload fails the error message is basically "computer says no".

We don't see the exception traceback or anything.

Can we see the exception at a minimum?

For at least one of our ISA-Tab files, text from it is corrupted when displayed.

When users are not logged in, the first page is just empty datasets. It would be nice to have a message telling them that datasets do exist but they must create an account to view it.

If I search for "claire", it doesn't find her data.

Also searching for your own uploads would be useful.

In an ISA-tab submission, if there are multiple studies, displaying them is not supported.

We want to be able to download the metadata record in some form. Currently this isn't possible.

Ideally this would be an ISA-tab format.

In particular, surely the case of uploading an ISA-tab should make it possible to download the same ISA-tab?

When you click "share" on your already uploaded dataset. The options are none, read-only and modify. In the read-only, can they still download the data? This isn't obvious. Also, "modify" seems like the wrong word. You don't want to think others can change your data/data descriptions. Maybe "full access" is better?

Attempting to view the files in a dataset, by clicking on a dataset, then clicking on "View Content in File Browser" , results in a broken page

On the error message it says: Please contact your System Administrator

"System Administrator" is highlighted in such a way that it looks like a link, but nothing happens when you click it. There is also nothing describing how to contact your administrator.
