refcard-org-beamer's Issues

refcard suggests using an obsolete function

I like to know what I use so I checked the org-latex-listings variable.
It showed me some bad news:

org-latex-listings is a variable defined in ‘org-compat.el’.

Its value is ‘verbatim’

This variable is obsolete since 9.6; use ‘org-latex-src-block-backend’
instead.

(setq org-latex-listings t)

I found recently that your refcard doesn't format properly in recent versions of emacs and org-mode

  #+RESULTS:
  : Emacs version: GNU Emacs 24.5.1 (x86_64-apple-darwin13.4.0, NS apple-appkit-1265.21)
  : of 2015-04-10 on builder10-9.porkrind.org
  : org version: 8.3.1

... the listings blocks get a "verbatim" environment instead of a "lstlistings" environment. The fix is to put the emacs-lisp line (setq org-latex-listings t) somewhere in your org file so that it gets evaluated. multiple authors and affiliations

Hi, first of all, let me thank for this document, it's very helpful!

Can you elaborate on how to include multiple authors with multiple affiliations? When I just repeat the \Institute command twice, only the second gets printed to the PDF, the first is ignored.

How can I have more than one affiliation?

Remove navigation symbols

You could remove the navigation symbols from your ref card, using

#+latex_header: \setbeamertemplate{navigation symbols}{}
