Building in OpenWRT cross compile environment

I'm trying to build this to improve streaming of a webcam on an armeb-openwrt-linux-ixp4xx board and hoping you can help! I downloaded live555 libs and compiled, speex and compiled and eventually got output_live to compile however the result is not ARM executable so I've gone wrong somewhere. Could you give a bit more info on the live555 and speex requirements? Maybe a link to the exact source versions you used? There was also an error about -logg not being found which I just removed from the compiler options!
