Please be aware of sslstrip.

@mrPsycho While a https is possible when you already have a certificate you are going to renew, how is it supposed to work when you are requesting your initial certificate?

@stephankn letsencrypt does the verification over http not httpS.

Clever, but not recommended. Wouldn't this be open to attacks where the attacker has your account private key but not access to your server?
