Thanks for the bug, but not really wild about any of the options. They add quite a bit of complexity and I don't think it's worth it. In practice it doesn't end up making a big difference, since only polling once every 2 seconds isn't a huge burden.

As I mentioned, I did not expect acme-tiny to implement any of the other ways, only to acknowledge the point in the README or something.

Since the spec used “SHOULD” and not “MUST”, I'm not sure if it's a fair game or not to do pooling.

Anyways, thank you for your reply and your time.
