I was able to download it by changing $FETCH https://downloads.devkitpro.org/$archive || { echo "Error: Failed to download $archive"; exit 1; } to $FETCH https://downloads.devkitpro.org/$archive || $FETCH https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/binutils/$archive || { echo "Error: Failed to download $archive"; exit 1; }, but This is just a temporary workaround.

What's your need to build from these scripts?
We recommend using the provided binaries via pacman where possible and generally provide no support for self built tools.
If there's an issue with the binaries (that's more than just "I don't want to use pacman") then we'd like to know about it and do what we can to fix it.

Oh, okay. I just installed pacman anyway, so I guess this issue can be closed.
