This gem provides a formatter for Cucumber that publishes results to the Cucumber Pro web service.

## Usage

Add the following line to your Gemfile:

gem 'cucumber-pro'

First, set the following environment variables:

export CUCUMBER_PRO_TOKEN=<your auth token from https://app.cucumber.pro/my/profile>
export CI=true
export CUCUMBER_PRO_LOG_FILE=cucumber-pro.log # if you're interested in reading log output

On Windows, you'll need to use SET instead of export.

Now run Cucumber using the Cucumber::Pro formatter:

cucumber -f Cucumber::Pro -f pretty

This will set up a connection to the Cucumber Pro server and stream results as your tests run.

### Dev environments

Normally, you'll only want to publish results to Cucumber Pro from your CI environment. For development, just make sure the CI environment variable is not set, and the plugin will not try to publish anything.

This means you can use the same profile configuration for dev and CI.
