KdExploitMe

A kernel driver to practice writing exploits against, as well as some example exploits using public techniques.

The intent of this driver is to educate security testers on how memory corruption issues in Windows kernel drivers can be exploited. Knowing how to exploit security issues allows security testers to prove that bugs are exploitable which can be used to convince developers to fix bugs. While these techniques can be used for evil, I have written this driver in the hopes that you will use this knowledge for good.

INF2Cat Errors during build

Once I set the project to compile as C instead of C++, i got rid of all the compile rules save this last one:

Inf2Cat Tool Output:

Signability test failed.

Errors:
22.9.4: Bad file name for catalogfile from [Version] section in \kdexploitme.inf
\kdexploitme.inf does not have NTAMD64 decorated model sections.
22.9.6: DriverVer missing or in incorrect format in \kdexploitme.inf

Warnings:
None

Not sure what settings need to be updated for this (new to building drivers).

Build problems with VS Express 2013 for Desktop

I've downloaded and i'm trying to build on a Win 7 x64 Windows Pro VM using the WDK 8.1 and VS Express 2013 for desktop. The sample exploits build just fine but the driver gives me some syntax errors:

The base one's are in HandleIOCTL.cpp:

I'm pretty sure its probably a config setting, but any tips you could provide would be appreciated.
