Hi. As the title suggests, my audio playback suffers dropouts from two to five secons every few minutes. It distracts me and therefore defies the purpose I use this app for.

I only tested the "Stream" audio file this far. CPU usage was constantly low.

Should be able to drag and drop audio into app

I download, install as administrator, and it seems to want to start but then it does nothing 😢

Analysing the web production build with https://github.com/robertknight/webpack-bundle-size-analyzer shows the 10 biggest dependencies are:

Heyho,

wanted to try Kakapo today.

After installation the main window appeared with a neverending loading symbol. Since closing the app, every time I try to start it I get an error popup disclaiming "A JavaScript error occurred in the main process" and the following error log:

The app currently overwrites its default json files which can be improved upon anyway.

Need to look at Squirrel to see what user data can be left alone.

I wanted to set up a development environment for fixing issue #16, but development builds don't have audio. It turns out Kakapo can't find the audio files. Here is the log of the desktop app:

The mentioned sounds directory does not exist. The sounds are in node_modules/kakapo_assets/sounds/ and are properly converted to OGG. No difference between the develop and the master branch. I'm at a loss at why this happens and would appreciate any help.

Apparently semicolons are required after class properties in Babel 6.4.0

I've been working on an app that fulfills a similar objective to Kakapo, and I really liked the sounds you've used. What are the Kakapo sounds licensed under? (Also, would you be okay with me using a few of them in my app?)

Love Kakapo, by the way! Been using it for over a year 😄

Clicking to send e-mail opens default e-mail app and an Electron window, which stays is empty. It is possible to close it clicking on close button on top left corner but feels like empty Electron windows should not appear as if has no functionality at all.

Hi again. I use Roughamobas Airfoil to stream ambient sounds to different speakers, but i can't seem to ad kakapo as a source of sound in airfoil (nor loopback).
Any chance this might be resolved?

Just downloaded the app and like it. Nonetheless I was looking for a feature similar top the one found on http://www.ambient-mixer.com where you can set upp randomness.

Lets say i want a to make my own ambient sound with a sound appearing randomly, like on this file where the animals make sounds with a random interval I can adjust myself. I would like a random generator for when the sounds start. Maybe the ability for another leveler below the volume where I can scroll from "basically never" to Several times "every minute". This would be a great update, let me know if you need any other input!

It would be awesome if you added chromecast support! I use this app while DMing, and it would be nice if I could simply cast the sound from the app, as opposed to connecting a cable.
