This looks super cool! Realize you have what you need here and likely aren't interested in adding this yourself but what do you think would be required to add USB support to this with a simple serial interface to tare and get weight? Power could also come from there.

Having an inexpensive standalone option that did both BLE and USB would be a super unique (and useful) offering.

I was able to decode BLE messages from a cheap amazon scale, could you help integrate it into app. The BLE does not require any pairing to register weight.

Somehow the "keep screen on" feature that was provided by stayawake.js stopped working on Chrome for Android.

Maybe time for a full rewrite of the front-end?

very very cool project!
A user of Beanconqueror, which is a coffee brew companion, reached out to me, if I want to integrate this DIY scale here and he sent me a sample scale - Pretty awesome!

I'm using the python-firmware with the scale.

After 3 hours of testing how to handle the data in Javascript (Cordova Base) I've come across that the weight above 350grams or so, can't be converted rightly.

I've tested with an object, which is 992 grams in total, which is displayed by the scale lcd, but the transmitted weight (also in the test version here: https://coffee.beeb.li/) is then displayed as -318.32g.

I know that the python scale is the old firmware, but I'd be happy to discuss here, if there is a chance to get like to 2kg, to make it for pour over possible.

I started getting this error today with my scale. Using the Bluefy app on iOS 17.1.1 in order to use Web BLE on my iPhone. Has been working flawlessly for a long time. Any ideas?

When changing scale from regular 100% to smaller (90% and less), picture will change the scale, layout will change. After turning scale back ("Reset scale" or zoom exactly at 100%) layout will change again, but picture won't changed.
