Smart Backspace

Adds smart backspace capability found in JetBrains IDEs to Sublime Text

Installation

Package Control:

  • Open command palette (Ctrl/Cmd+shift+p)
  • Select Package Control: Install Package
  • Select Smart Backspace

Manually:

  • Clone or download this repository into your packages folder (in Sublime, Preferences | Browse Packages...)

Usage

This plugin is automatically mapped to the backspace button. Original functionality of backspace can be accessed through shift+backspace

Requires Sublime Text 3

Bug: strange behavior when using multiple carets

First of all, this is a great package that has boosted my productivity, thank you for making it.

So I wanted to report, when using multiple cursors and hitting backspace it removes spaces the number of multiple cursors that are present.

The version of Sublime is 4152, and the version of Smart Backspace is v1.0.4

More description needed

For these who is not familiar with JetBrains IDEs current description means absolutely nothing...what exactly does this plugin do?
