reactingdns_openfoam's Issues

Eq. (2.6) -> Please re-check it in the document.

Hello Shenghui,

I would really appreciate it if you could kindly check the sign for Eq. (2.6).
I have checked it with different sources and I believe that a (-) sign should be inserted before D_km.

Thank you so much.

Eq. 2-14 needs a modification in the pdf document.

Hello,
Please check Eq. (2-14) in the document:
(Mu_k/Mu_L)**0.5 + (M_k/M_L)**0.25 should be (Mu_k/Mu_L)**0.5 * (M_k/M_L)**0.25.
I think (+) should be replaced by (*).

Thank you so much.

Compiling errors on OF2206

Thanks for making reactingDNS available!

I am trying to compile reactingDNS on OFv2206. I copied the solvers/reactingDNS to "$WM_PROJECT_DIR"/applications/solvers/combustion/ and then tried compiling using ./Allwmake.

I am getting the below erros

Making dependency list for source file reactingDNS.C
wmkdepend: could not open 'fluidThermoMomentumTransportModel.H' for source file 'reactingDNS.C': No such file or directory
wmkdepend: could not open 'psiReactionThermophysicalTransportModel.H' for source file 'reactingDNS.C': No such file or directory
wmkdepend: could not open 'compressibleTransportModel.H' for source file 'reactingDNS.C': No such file or directory
wmkdepend: could not open 'turbulentFluidThermoModel.H' for source file 'reactingDNS.C': No such file or directory
wmkdepend: parse error while scanning 'createFields.H' ... perhaps missing a final newline
wmkdepend: parse error while scanning 'readChemistryProperties.H' ... perhaps missing a final newline

Am I doing something wrong?

Question about SL calculation

Hello,

I am currently comparing the results of reactingDNS with the differential diffusion implemented in the openfoam-dev version and the calculations from Cantera. I have a question. How is the laminar flame speed (SL) calculated in OpenFOAM (SLComparisonWithCantera.pdf)? Thank you.

BR,
Shang
