The reason being is because I switched from coloring replies to coloring their containers. The new selector is .thread .replyContainer { background-color: ...; ... }

This allows me to do tricks like alternating post colors.

.replyContainer > .thread .replyContainer {background-color:

Because that doesn't change much.
