optima-ppm's Issues

Pictures for Programming connection are broken

Hello,
I'm interested in the Optima 7 firmware update to get the PPM output, but the images are broken and I can 't get the information on how to solder the programming connector.

Would it be possible to add them again or write the information? thanks a lot!

FailSafe feature is not available

Hi!

Just to comment that with this version, the FailSafe feature provided by the receiver is lost :(.

But, good news are that I have already a version which includes the Failsafe feature implemented and the SBUS too (without additional HW)!!! I'm in the testing phase, but the main issue is that I don't have a SBUS device yet to test it, waiting for a new drone to be able to do it.

CH7 will be used for PPM or SBUS output, and CH6 for selecting betweem them. CH0 to CH5 remains PWM.

As soon I can test, I'll fork your project and share it!!! (compilation is under Arduino IDE + MiniCore board, much easy for all of us).

Best Regards!!

Optima 9 Slave mega168

Hi!
Can you confirm to me that the slave mega is the one if thw "2" next to it?
And I just wanna know if is possible to generate a Sbus signal istead of PPM, cause if yea I will try to code.
Thanks!

How does it works and sbus inplementation even with low refresh

Hello Guys! I'm glad to say that I got this work on my Optima 9!
But I am almost buying a flight control to my quad that only works with serial protocols, so I wanna ask you guys with is possible to explain me a little how the code works so I can write my own sbus version, even with the 50 Hz refresh rate.
I also wanna ask if is possible to reprogram the master Atmega and got a faster refresh rate, and also get a RSSI information.
I want to contribute to this, so I can prepare a tutorial with pictures and everything to windows users to get it working on optima 9 and others receivers.

S.Bus protocol

It would be nice to support an S.Bus protocol (which is a bit "faster") than PPM.

Is this possible? Also, could it be supported, even in theory?
