There exists so much VDR plugins. Check which plugins are useful and add them into the build.

The plugin doesn't start because of missing configuration

Switch VDR to Kodi

The commands.conf entry and the systemctl service differs. VDR can't be stopped.

plugin markad is unable to find the executable

markad: cannot find /usr/bin/markad, please install

The path is wrong. It should be /opt/vdr/bin/markad.

Error message while starting VDR

Falls der Skindesigner im Setup eingestellt wurde, dann wirft der VDR beim allerersten Start die Meldung: The codec is not open. amlSetVideoAxis

Aber z.B. ein Wechsel von Lcars auf Skindesigner im laufenden VDR macht keine Probleme.
Ein Neustart des VDR funktioniert dann aber auch wieder mit dem Skindesigner.

Enable all available plugins, channel switch and VDR restarts

Assumption is, that at least one plugin forces a VDR restart after a channel switch. Investigation is needed to identify and disable the plugin.

osdteletext screen is completely empty

Perhaps the font configuration needs some enhancements.

The Plugin scraper2vdr does not build

tools.c:10:10: fatal error: Magick++.h: No such file or directory

Das liegt an imagemagick, bzw. der Meldung beim configure:

   checking if g++ supports namespace std... no
   checking whether the compiler supports ISO C++ standard library... no
   checking whether C++ compiler is sufficient for Magick++... no (failed tests)

Die Ursache ist noch völlig unklar.

Missing configuration entry in conf

Either the configuration entry is missing or the webapp doesn't exists:
restfulapi: can not add webapp 'restfulapi'! Path '/opt/vdr/plugins/restfulapi' does not exist!

vdr: error while reading '/storage/.config/vdropt/plugins/zaphistory.conf'

The file itself exists and is readable and writeable. But the error message occurs on VDR startup

implement a systemd start script for VDR

To switch between VDR and KODI a systemd script could help.

Implement a KODI/VDR mechanism to switch easily between both applications

Investigation is needed how it's possible to switch between KODI and VDR. In both applications a mechanism would be nice to have.

plugin shared library name is wrong

The shared library of ac3mode has the name "libvdr-ac3mode.so."
The VDR version number is missing at the end.

systemd service extract-vdr-config.service

The systemd service extract-vdr-config.service is not automatically started. A manual start is possible and sucessful.
