Early commit `7c2e150` brings in copy of mesalink and loses mesalink history

It looks like commit 7c2e150 brings in a copy of mesalink and makes code changes (like renaming instances of "mesalink" to "tabbyssl").

However, this makes it difficult to track the true provenance of where the code actually came from. For example, if you try to do a git blame src/libssl/x509.rs, then almost all of the lines just say they came from 7c2e150 (even though actually came from some commit in the mesalink repo).

Ideally, this repo would have started as a fork of the actual mesalink repo. Then, you could delete any files/directories that you don't want and move any files you want. You can even merge unrelated git repos (although that's not needed in this case).

To fix the current repo, you could:

  1. Pull original mesalink repo at the commit you merged over.
  2. Delete files you don't want.
  3. Replay the rest of the Git history of the current main branch (now at bebb3f0).

This would result in identical file structure but provide more rich history that makes debugging easier.
Since the current repo is relatively young, would you be willing to re-write the history?

I would be happy to do the low-level git work and file a PR, but I would need to know the version/commit of mesalink that you pulled from in 7c2e150.

I tried to execute the examples built with cmake but I getting this linkage problem
