The above code is an example where the character \n is inserted.

This breaks the compatibility with platforms using a different EOL character than \n.

Variable os.EOL from NodeJS API could be used as it is platform independent.

This seems also related to this issue: yeoman/generator#370

I would be glad to submit a pull request if asked.

I've seen various blog posts that the this.readFileAsString and this.writeFileAsString methods are being deprecated in favour of this package.

Can we have some docs on how to use this please?
