I would like to expose a nicer way to do this on a modal-by-modal basis. In the meantime, you can do something along these lines, as Hubspot Tether provides a global position method. Calling it will reposition all tethers on the page, which will recenter a tethered modal.

Note that this will only work if you are using the tether-dialog component, because it uses ember-tether under the hood.

actions: {
    somethingHappenedThatMeritsModalRepositioning() {
      Ember.run.schedule('afterRender', function() {
        Tether.position();
      });
    }
  }

from ember-modal-dialog.

👍 Any other ways to implement this without using tether-dialog component? I need this feature badly.. .
