I have tried installing arch on my 2015 MacBook Pro with a few errors. I had to change directory of the Paragon installer due to a name change i'm assuming. For me on 10.12.3 it is "/Volumes/ParagonFS.localized/FSInstaller.app/Contents/Resources/Paragon\ ExtFS\ for\ Mac.pkg -target /". So I got passed that and now the airootfs.sfs is no longer available and I have tried using others but they throw errors like this "pacman: error while loading shared libraries: libarchive.so.13: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64". Any help in what I could fix would be great! Thanks again for this repo, I am enjoying it but will love it more when arch is fully installed XD.
So I've been trying to get this working - I'm pretty close but I'm stuck on the mounting step (I think this is the problem), since unsquashfs no longer generates an img file.
I changed it to this:
mount --bind /squashfs-root /arch
mount --bind /dev /arch/dev
chroot /arch mount -t proc none /proc
chroot /arch mount -t sysfs none /sys
chroot /arch mount -t devpts none /dev/pts
which almost works, but this line UUID=$(blkid /dev/sdb -o export | grep UUID | head -1)
crashes things - it seems like /dev/sdb doesn't exit (though sdb1-9 do). I've been trying to debug it but I've never used docker/virtualbox before and could use some help.

The "fix" is to somehow ignore the error during the normal upgrade, or ignore the package, then delete the file in question, then update as normal. I haven't figured out how to make the docker-side script process this yet, so I can't seem to make it install at all now.
I have to leave out the key retrieval, installation, and caching during the AMD setup, since gpg is hanging for some reason.
Hello there,
Trying to get in working on my MacBook Pro 13”,
It’s installed fine, without errors, but after rebooting I got error:
fsck error 2 (no such file or directory) while executing fsck.ext4
ERROR: fsck failed on /dev/sda4
Mount unknown filesystem type ‘ext4’
Any ideas how to solve this?
Thanks!
The install will simply return successfull with a message about Docker being installed but not linked. It is necessary to brew link docker if this has occurred. (In the event that you have done something silly like I did, and ran Docker's uninstall.sh, which deletes the symlinks, thinking they are the original files.)
The following error occurs during the docker build.

@yantis I get the following error while docker is installing first set of packages,
==> Creating gzip-compressed initcpio image: /boot/initramfs-linux-fallback.img

and then in continues to download more packages to install, and i get this error:

Is it possible for the script to install Arch on a totally different drive than the one with macOS? This is because I'm using a 128GB SSD as my macOS boot drive, and I don't want to disturb the partitioning on that SSD. What I have instead is a 500GB HDD connected to the Mac internally alongside the SSD. So is there a way to install Arch on the HDD rather than the SSD? Thanks :)
Hello there, i got this message while running the script:
/dev/disk2 GUID_partition_scheme
/dev/disk2s1 Apple_HFS /Volumes/ParagonFS.localized
installer: Cannot install on volume / because it is disabled.
installer: The version of macOS is too new.
What I can do to get it running?
Thanks!
These packages fail to install from the cached packages folder, due to being obsolete now. It tries to downgrade the kernel and other packages, and outright fails on dkms, gcc, and gcc-libs.
