Technical

I am missing some "nesting" in your style.scss. your body should normally be wrapped around all the other elements (except for the variables, mixins and imports).

Generally all else is good! I would maybe recommend to look at "naming conventions for variables" currently you are pasting the words together (concatenation), but this can be difficult to read if you don't use a certain casing (see: camelCase - PascalCase - snake_case - kebab-case)

GIT

I don't have enought commit messages to give complete feedback, but will ask you to read GIT - Best Practises and try to adhere to these.

Generally you should try to commit more or less 5-10 times a day, or per feature.
