This basically:

Right now, insensitive toolbuttons have a big grey unwanted box around them. Insensitive combo boxes are pretty bad as well.

White seems to make reading too hard for me.

OBS: Just a sugestion.

Currently the Gtk 2 theme off Numix is being used. Obviously, this doesn't look anything like the Gtk 3 theme, and gives an inconsistent feel to the theme.

For example gnome-tweak-tool appears just fine but pavucontrol (a gtk3 application) doesn't get the fancy title bar.

I'm not sure why this happens - maybe code from other themes which do this properly should fix it.

I've got a question, I'm on Ubuntu 13.10 and I login with Gnome Session (No effect), the theme works except that Title bar are not here :

Is it a normal behavior ? (since I don't really know which version of Gnome I have..)

When I install the dark theme via gnome-tweak-tool, I see the following warnings/errors:

This is with current Git HEAD (2aea932).

This is probably because a custom png is being loaded to fix something in a previous version. Version 3.10 may not need it.

Since Banshee is a Gtk 2 application, this means fixing it is going to be a bit hard :(

The text in a combobox menu does not change colour to red as it is supposed to.

Using the Iris theme icons in the LibreOffice toolbar become very big, or in fact just very wide. This of course isn't super practical as many options end up in the not-so-usable droop down menu.

Widgets look fairly messed up in the dark toolbars, especially entries.

I'm running Ubuntu 14.04, Gtk 3.10, Unity with newly introduced CSD supoprt.

In Scratch Text Editor, open/create a file and then right click on the text. The menu that will spawn will have entires which are white and do not change on hover.

Clicking on it turns it white and the transition is strange.

I copy folder in /usr/share/themes. Shows theme name in tweak tools but not work.

For example, on the (status bar?) of Gedit, at the bottom, the tab width and highlight mode buttons are invisible unless you hover over them.

I don't know exactly what GTK property controls this, but it looks like this:

Aside from that, it's an absolutely beautiful theme!

The border is screwed up.

The button separator is an almost white colour on a dark background, which looks really bad.

To reproduce: go to Settings >> Network and in the left pane, the network icon will be white until you hover over it, but the text will be red.

I believe this may have something to do with tree views, but it seems to happen in Nautilus sidebars, the Open file dialog as well as the List Store demo in the GTk demos package.

In the PDF reader (Ubuntu 13.10) press F9 and a sidebar will appear. There will be an invisible combobox at the top. Maybe it's a secondary toolbar?

It would be nice to have a matching theme for Chrome/Chromium :)

This is because the button fg color is white, meaning that the theming in USC means that the text cannot be easily read. I suspect this is to do with custom theming. I shall look at the USC code!

I believe it just uses the code for content view buttons :/

Very nice theme, but I found two things not working: in the xfce volume-change-popup I cannot see the difference between background and volumebar. and eg in recoll -> tools -> advanced search -> filter: in the history-field-dropdown-menu for the subfolders the fontcolor is the same like the background color

Dark theme menubar text is unreadable (seems to be missing FG_COLOR). Also affects Firefox tabs.

Using Ubuntu 13.10 / Gnome Shell 3.10

Metacity, Mutter, Gala, Xfce, Openbox and Unity themes are needed to accompany the Gtk theme. Ideally, these should match the CSD for a more polished and consistent look.

Since the code was based off Numix, the ReadMe etc. files still reference Numix.

Scrollbars in GTK3 applications are greyed out when not active. On hover they become a bit darker and on click they turn red. In GTK2 application on the other hand they are darker when inactive and become lighter in hover. Of course the red on click works here too.

In Gnome Notes app (Gtk 3.10) create or open a note and then select some text. The popup that will display will be black with undecipherable icons & text. This is due to the .osd class not being styled properly.

Granite WIdgets are improperly themed:

Dynamic Notebook: Should look like Gtk.Notebook
Sourcelist: Should look like sidebar

The title bar of windows not using Gnome's client side decorations are not matching the themed part of the application. For example this appears in Firefox (Nightly, but I guess the regular release is also affected) or Libre Office.

It should be white like in the other versions.

Reason: missing gtk2-engines-pixbuf

Note the input field and button mouse-over border on the toolbar.

Could be a monitor color thing, but the difference in color between the scrollbar and the track is miniscule and it makes it hard to see where I am on the page.

P.S. I think the light theme has this issue as well

I have active the theme only for my user, folder .themes. After activation works the theme, but the fonts and hover-fonts are white, nor readable. See the follow example.

The toolbars and menus are light right now. This means that dark coloured icon themes such as Nitrux are not visible :(

It is hard to tell whether the second switch in the screenshot is on or off.

Some of them have invisible borders which means they seem to blend in. This is undesired behaviour

I appreciated that I like your minimalistic GTK theme, using with the fuchsia/pink GTK theme is quite unique.

However, there is a problem I found when using the theme in MATE (a fork of the old GNOME 2).

The first problem is that the menus in the MATE Panel is unreadable in the panel's dark color background. Here's the first screenshot, which is seen barely unreadable at the top left.

The second problem: As MATE currently uses Marco as their window manager, the Metacity theme won't be chosen from the Appearance Preferences. The reason caused that it requires "metacity-theme-1.xml" in order to choose the window border theme from the Appareance Preferences, and thus I used other Metacity themes that didn't match the theme (applies to both GTK2/3 apps). Here's the second screenshot.

I'm using MATE 1.6.2 running on Manjaro Linux 0.8.9rc2.

The current targeted version of Gtk is 3.10, but support for Gtk 3.8 will probably need to be added at some point in the future.

The class for the selection is GtkTreeView.cell but for some reason I can't change the background of the selection.

Windows should be slightly grayed out when they're inactive (similar to the Adwaita theme).

Buttons do not appear in tabs until hover. They should probably be invisible so only the icon is shown.

They look kinda bad...Change them to white maybe? With a slight border?

I'm not sure what secondary toolbars look like right now, maybe build a sample app that uses them and then do some awesome design stuff?
