I sometimes land at an airport, turn on the nav, and watch as flights come and go. Seems all the ADS-B planes are shown as a 727 type. I can usually grab the flight's number, and google to determine if it is a Cessna, or regional jet, etc. For example, just now https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N1100H is a honda jet that could be represented as a Embraer, at least it would be cool to see a Cessna taking off, when it's an IFR flight squaking a code. It would be some sort of correlating database, type -> type, and a lookup from some site's API like (don't know who has one) flightaware's. I may just not fly like most, low and slow mostly, so sorry if this is already done.
