I recently thought of a concept almost identical to that implemented in this repository, and was hoping to create my own implementation. In the course of my research I found that there doesn't seem to be a widely-used implementation of this concept, but also found this very repository.

While I understand you (probably) don't own this idea, I still wanted to ask explicit permission to reimplement and publish this same concept in the interest of fairness.
